She chose peace over proving herself

She chose peace over proving herself

~ Stop chasing validation, find inner calm

There was a time when she over-explained everything.

       Why she was quiet?

       Why she was feeling different?

       Why she dreamed differently?

Why she cried over “small things”?

       Why she needed space?

She apologized for her softness.

She kept trying to explain herself – just to be understood.

She worked so hard to get acknowledged.

But one day, one still morning, sipping her tea, she asked herself “What if I just stopped?”

She tried; she failed.

Felt impossible.

But she didn’t quit.

Slowly, she stopped chasing validation.

With time, she stopped trying to convince the world of her worth.

Eventually, she stopped trying to fit-in where she never belonged.

The process was hard.

It was never easy.

It cost her some “friends”.

Her circle grew smaller.

Her Heart grew softer.

She chose peace over proving.

She chose stillness over chaos.

She realized, she didn’t need to win love from those who never truly saw her. She didn’t owe any explanations to those who never cared to understand.

She learned:

Peace is found in letting go

In knowing who you are, without anyone else to confirm it.

In walking away, not out of anger, but out of alignment.

Now

       She smiles quietly.

       Not because life is perfect,

But because she is no longer tired of performing for others to validate her.

She trusts.

She blooms not for others, but for her.

She is here to live – for her –

       Softly.

Freely.

Peacefully.
